What is polymer clay?
Polymer clay is based on the polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and is a highly versatile modeling material. One of its key characteristics is how malleable it is, making it easy to reshape or make alterations. After polymer clay pieces have been modeled, they can be baked, cooled, and then sanded, polished, drilled, and glazed. It is an extremely lightweight material, and unlike ceramic or porcelain, it doesn't shatter when dropped.
